The end of the life of a duckling who was born as an egg-laying duck was not a beautiful one

The end of the life of a duckling who was born as an egg-laying duck was not a beautiful one. Thousands of ducklings are being killed every day on a farm in China. Because they are egg-laying ducks, they are being ruthlessly abandoned because they do not need to be used. China has one of the largest agricultural and livestock industries in the world.

The photos were taken from a farm in China. In the photos, farm workers use a net to kill ducks. After being slaughtered in a boiling kettle, they go to snake sellers (or street vendors) and sell it as snake meat.
Animal rights activists have strongly opposed the move. But killing animals in this way is not uncommon in China. There are billions of hens.

The photos were taken on February 16 at an anonymous farm in Tongqiao Village, Xidu City, Hunan Province. filmed by Chinese journalist Li Gen. The ducks, which were boiled alive with hot water, were less than four days old. However, LiGen said they were killed because they could not lay eggs and the feed would be too expensive.

It takes about 20 days for an egg to hatch. After hatching, the male and female ducks are separated. It ended because no one wanted to sell the females and buy the males. Instead of burying the land alive, farm workers say they are using this method to make it economically viable. Put it in boiling water and put it in a spinning machine to remove the hairs.

Then they sell it as snake meat. Such incidents are happening not only in China but also in the West. The only difference is the format. In the West, it is buried alive.
